A little early morning photoshoot of my friend Mel and her boys was just enough effort to build up an appetite for the best brekkie in the Denver Metro area. Even better was visiting Snooze's new Southglenn location and being seated immediately. I know that doesn't sound like much, but in all my years of eating at Snooze, I've never waited under 45 minutes for a table. But it's so worth the wait.
The coffee comes in these happy yellow curvy mugs, which Mel pointed out to me this morning, have little thumb rests. Turns out they must have quite a fan club of their own because Snooze sells them right there in store. Someday I will bring a few of these happy mugs home to live in my kitchen. But even happier than the mug is what those sunny little mugs hold.
Snooze makes the BEST pancake flavors ever. Seriously...check out Mel's pancakes....
Red velvet pancakes? That's pretty cool. And what about the Graceland pancakes? While banana and peanut butter cream seem simple enough, how intriguing is bacon caramel sauce? I was admittedly a bit shocked that Mel's not a pineapple upside down kind of pancake girl.
All of my pancake adulation and which flavors did I choose?....
What can I say--at least it's not eggs benedict again. I love the idea of all of those pancakes, but when it comes to ordering breakfast, savory almost always wins. And when it doesn't, I sit there so saddened at my breakfast choice. No one should be sad when having breakfast.
Tabasco or Cholula? Why choose? Snooze + breakfast burrito = happy morning indeed.
Aren't Duncan and Dave just the cutest?
Love the shots and the colors in the brick wall!
ReplyDeleteI agree about breakfast. We have our favorite place near the Golden Gate and with an amazing view of the bay. They have outdoor seating and the best breakfast. It is so relaxing.
Ooh I heart snooze. No wait? Went to the one on Colorado last weekend and it was over an hour and a half. But like you said, so worth it.
ReplyDeletei actually bought two of the mugs for my mom for christmas because she loved them so much when she was out here visiting and I took her to Snooze.

Love they way they are looking up at their momma. And love the colors!! Great shots.love them all.
ReplyDeleteI think breakfast out may just be the happiest time as well. Red velvet pancakes sounds so delicious!
ReplyDeleteLove the photos of the dogs!
Love the colors in the photos. Did you use actions?
ReplyDeleteI choose breakfast burritos as well though those pancakes look unbelieveable. Bacan caramel sauce?!?!?!
The pix turned out SO cute!! Definitely getting one of them framed! Thank You again for braving the morning cold!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks all.
ReplyDeleteI did use actions...MCP actions to be exact because it would take me way to long to do what that script does in seconds. :) Love MCP!
Mel sorry--I'll get the rest of the shots posted and send you the link so you can see the rest.
My sister has Cavaliers. They are such a pretty dog.
ReplyDeleteAny chance they shared the Red Velvet pancake recipe? That sounds so yummy, but I guess it's probably the same as just eating a slice of cake for breakfast. :)
